Supported Services Billing Methods

  1. Hourly: Customers are billed monthly at a single hourly rate per service contract for any hours used on cases or imported from other systems.
  2. Fixed: Customers are billed a fixed rate each month. Unlimited hours are included.
  3. Fixed with Overage: Customers are billed a fixed rate each month. A preset number of hours is included in the contract, and hours used over the preset are billed at a set hourly rate.
  4. Fixed with Overage and Rollover: Customers are billed a fixed monthly rate. A preset number of hours is included in the contract, and hours used over the preset are billed at a set hourly rate. Hours used under the monthly preset can be rolled into next month’s preset-included hours.
  5. Prepurchase Block Hours: A NetSuite Invoice can be created and paid before any work is done. Time entry records can be used to run down the prepurchase amount. As hours are consumed, revenue recognition can be configured on the NetSuite project to create journal entries automatically. The remaining hours can be displayed on the service contract.
